Misleading concepts of Perfection
We are all living our entire lives with the misleading concepts of perfection. The sensation of acquisition of the perfect things is what drives the most of us to go through severe situations in life. We push ourselves hard enough to be at a spot to acquire all the perfect of things labeled by people. We have a sense of understanding that only with these acquisitions we will be able to label ourselves perfect. Everyone knows what perfect means but have you ever tried to define perfect? Have you ever tried to find out if the word perfect has the same meaning for everyone? For instance, A pen is always a pen for everybody no matter what the situation. However, a blunt hot soup might just be the perfect thing for a homeless guy but not for a millionaire. If we're not that sure if it has the same meaning for everybody else then why do we keep pushing ourselves more than we should, just to achieve something that is labeled perfect by people? This is because we all have the same misleading concepts of perfection inside of our heads.

Impacts of Misleading concepts of Perfection.
We are always following people and without even realizing we are all running in circles. You can never move ahead in life if you're marching on with others in a circle. These false believes we have of the concept of perfection leads us down this circular path in life. These misleading concepts of perfection are so deeply integrated inside some people's head that they waste their whole lives running after something that they don't even know will bring them true peace and satisfaction. They chase these things only because everyone says it's the perfect thing to do.
We are all familiar with the times when we do certain things not because we want to but because we think that it will put us in a spot labeled perfect by others. We do all these sorts of activities only with the expectation that others might observe the works we have accomplished or something we have acquired and hope that they might label us or the life we live to perfection. Neglecting all sorts of dissatisfaction and troubles that comes our way in the process of getting those things that we didn't even want for ourselves in the first place.

Creating your own meaning of perfection.
After we realize that in a sense the word perfect does not have a universal meaning when everyone's understanding and perceiving capacities are considered. We should now be able to step outside of the marching circle of people and make our own way. We can stop chasing after something that we never wanted rather, we can now make efforts to achieve and acquire something we actually want. But this does not imply we should stop doing the right thing to get what we want.
What it does implies is that the perfection according to people are only mere concepts and we should not be blinded by such beliefs. We should work hard consistently for the things that are good for us, things that brings out the best of us and fills our heart and soul with happiness and satisfaction. Make your own perfection and chase them. Don't worry about not being labeled as perfect by others because in the end nothing what people think is going to matter.
